Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q in Del Rio

Cant believe they dont have homemade tortillas in a town 85.9% hispanic. Never again!!

Ive never been to a "Rudys Country Store and Bar-B-Q" before but it was quite unique! They have all sorts of barbecue and grilled meats on the menu. I highly recommend the wet brisket or the jalapeno sausages! You can also fill up your car while youre there, just in case you need to top it off.

Always great to eat here. Best bbq around.

Theres no way I can say enough about this place. The service walking in the door was unbelievable. She walked me through the options. The food was second to none. Im lucky to have come across this place. Please come to Nc.

I had dinner here because I was passing through with my family. The food was great, I had ribs and tried beef brisket. The ribs were super tender and the beef brisket was great. Also, it was not expensive and most importantly, the staff was super nice and personable. If I ever come back to Del Rio I will definitely go here again. 👍

It was our first visit. I was really wanting brisket but got a taste of turkey and had to have it.

So first off - This place is amazing. Second - its affordable! This was our first time so we got a customized shpeal, along with samples of meat (and the green chili soup).I got a loaded baked potato, which is so giant my son ate part of it and we still had a full meal the next day on the left overs. Pretty intensely large potato.In the restaurant, my son has the pulled pork sandwich. Delicious. I really liked the original bbq sauce but my son preferred the sweeter (less spicysauce.All of this good BBQ while getting gas for your car at the same time. Loved the environment. Its family style seating and the vibe is just laid back and fun. This whole thing was an experience. 5 stars! I definitely recommend 🤩

You can not order a plate, everything has to be separate, meet was cold, kind of expensive for the service they offer.

6-19-2022 Ordered 6 breakfast tacos the tortillas were refrigerator cold. Never again Rudy’s!!!

Food used to be great but success seems to have gone to their head. Pulled pork was ok smoked sausage was not smoked at all barley cooked we will no go back

The food is good. Customer service is great! You should try the brisket breakfast tacos, loaded potato, & the chopped brisket or pulled pork sandwich. Their cream corn is the best!

Our first time at a Rudys. We like the cafeteria style of the place. The sweet tea here is dangerously good. Brisket was decent, but the pulled pork was pretty good.

Rudys is our favorite BBQ place. Lean or moist brisket is delicious.

What a very unique flavor you have to try when you are visiting this place. The array of items on the menu is just too big to mention but you can arrange to try small quantities of each when visiting them. I went for the Turkey Sandwich and it was amazing the flavor it concentrated between those buns, the desserts are not left too far behind and the sides are very good as well. A very unique experience awaits you when you find the time to visit them in Del Rio Texas....kudos to them all !!!

Came to here from out of state with a group. I had the pulled pork sandwich and banana pudding. Was amazing! Great atmosphere and great food. Go through a line to order like a food line, and pay while you order. I would totally recommend and will come back if I’m ever here again.

The employees were very polite very nice easy to cut up with and laugh it was a very nice experience a lot of fun

I took my family a little after breakfast which ended 10am and spent over $100. I bought 4 coffees and was only able to fill 2 cups. The guy at the front did not want to make anymore because it was after 10 and only made it after I told him i had already paid. The cashier did not tell me this prior to paying. Annoyed, he reluctantly made it. I was able to get a refill and he took the pot right after in spite. I see no issue as we are able to get refills on sodas. There was still plenty of hot coffee left which was just disposed. Poor customer service.

One of the best bbq stops to get bbq by the pound. And also bbq sandwiches. Got the spicy chopped and the always moist brisket sandwiches

Based on my experience, the food here was very good. Customer service was fine. No issues presented overall. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Pretty good baked potato with brisket. Wish it had butter on it. I would have liked more brisket too. Fast and very friendly service. I would go back for another meal.

Dont let the fact its in a gas station fool you, the food here is excellent and the sauce is superb.Dive bar vibe, food served canteen style and the live music was loud so dont go in expecting something else.Friendly locals.

I never expected to find BBQ this good. Green chili stew was amazing. Loaded smoked baked potato was great. Get the sauce. Brisket and ribs were also really good.

Came here for gas, attendant was very helpful. The store is also a BBQ place which is awesome. Great BBQ food and a clean bathroom too. There is motorcycle parking at the front. When you use the pump, the LCD screen is faded out so you may have to talk to the attendant.

Today Veterans day at 11:06am is a sad day at Rudys. Young girl black pony tail about 55" heavy set behind the counter. Extremely dismissive with not only me but everyone, more especially Veterans, as I observed from a distance. When asked a question she was disturbed like leave me alone and go away. If she does not want to work there than she should go away. Normally I have had good friendly service, too bad if she continues to work there. Maybe after a year when I might make another visit she will be gone. But I am only one person so Rudys will continue with business and not be missing one person.

Overpriced and not very good. Brisket was ok. Sides were offensive. Didn’t have what I wanted so made due but it wasn’t good. Rude waitstaff.. sign says “your mom doesn’t work here, clean up after yourself.” Will not go back. Hated it. Oh and it’s a gas station. Should’ve been a clue

MUST EAT moist brisket. Hands down best chain moist brisket you will ever find!! The cream corn, jumbo smoked potato with meat, and green chili stew are also🔥Going to miss Rudy’s when I leave Texas :(

Pork loin was tender and seasoned up perfect . New Potatoes,(red skins boiled and covered with butterwe a very complementary side. The corn on the cob was tender and served hot, buy didnt have flavor at the same level as the loin. They are generous with the butter sauce, wish it was butter, but it is well above average. We will be back

Love eating at Rudy’s. Today, my baked potato was not hot so the condiments like cheese and butter did not melt properly causing me to bite into a chunk of butter which I thought was potato (eeek!). Taste is great, just bummed it wasn’t hot or warm enough.

I had brisket and turkey. The brisket was cooked perfectly, but if you taste it without putting sauce on it there is zero flavor. Seems like they didnt even put salt on it. The turkey was the same. Seems like the point of the food is to hold sauce. The sauce was good and the place has a fun rustic atmosphere.

Have had this food at least one a week great smoke flavor on all the food

We were there for an early supper. Looks like a fun, rocking place when its busy. Good food, but my brisket was only slightly warmer than room temperature. Lost a star there.

Only in Texas where you can get great Texas bbq and gas at the same time. Food here is really good. Different kinds of briskets, prime rib, sausage, giant baked potato. A must try

O..M..G.., This place food is sooooo good. When you come to Texas, 2 things you have, BBQ and Mexican. Not only can you get some very well priced, tasty breakfast tacos but, their BBQ is fire. I cant help but indulge every single time I eat there cause I always want to have more than enough.

Good food @ reasonable price with fast service. And yes occasionally live music. What else one could ask for ,😀

Great restaurant little pricey. But not out of normal for great food. Young men working there were very helpful to us as new customers.We will be back for more.Oh yes they have motorcycle parking only by ft. Large windows. We parked our motorcycles there.Go you will enjoy.

Very good tasting barbecue, its good that they have choice for lean briskets. Though Cafeteria kind of atmosphere its good with friends or family. You order first, get your tray of food and drinks then seat yourself. Overall good experience.

Not too Bad...!!Pleasantly surprised I would say..First time trying the Rudys BBQ chain, great memories of eating at the first Rudys BBQ then they became a chain and assumed the quality of BBQ would go down hill..but not really. Good BBQ, good quantity, sauce and condiments were good..best Ice tea I have had in quite sometime..So, even though its a chain...pretty darn good..will definetly try Rudys again...6.00 for a fat BBQ sandwich ..pretty good...changed my attitude about chain BBQ joints...!!!

Breakfast tacos are horrible. The sausage and egg, are not good. The sausage is this chopped up mess of pizza italian-ish sausage. The chorizo and egg tacos are a joke. The chorizo is just thrown on the eggs. This way they are able to say, it is chorizo and egg. The tortillas are a tragedy! Not hand made, and have the smell and taste of a waxy kind.

Very Tasty BBQ Pulled Pork, Loaded Potato with Brisket was Awesome. Corn crisp and buttery. The Service was friendly and quick.Really intresting place and lots of families enjoying a good meal there. Well Done Rudy!!Also has drive thru.. amazing..😀👍

Absolutely disgusting and terrible quality in food. My husband and I both ordered a stuffed potato with brisket. We were both disappointed with the quality of the food, seeing as the brisket was extremely rough and hard. We didn’t finish our food and actually ended up sick that night. I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here.

I was looking for some real Texan BBQ ribs and this is the place to get some. They serve great beef and pork ribs and pulled pork and lots of sides. The ribs in pulled pork are available for purchase by quarter pound, half pound with reasonable prices, lots of condiments and all their products are available 4 take away as well as take out. The dining area is large with a nice covered outdoor seating area country music. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in explaining the choices. The prices I found very reasonable and the food I have tasted so far is fantastic. I will be going back to Rudys again

Pretty decent brisket and ribs although it couldve been hotter... Food was almost completely cold.

Great brisket and prime rib. Good cold side dishes in several sizes, and banana pudding for dessert. It is not fancy, but predictably good!! And if you cannot eat in, you can take it away. They also cater.

Live music. Cheap beer. Great bbq. Friendly staff and environment. What else do you need?
